The Bishop of Christian Central Chapel International Worldwide, Gospel Emmah Isong, has disclosed that God allows Christians to be lied against so that they can appreciate some of the things Jesus Christ went through when false witnesses rose against him before he was crucified. The Bishop also noted that God allows Christians to be falsely accused of any offence because He wants to teach them some divine principles in the Bible. He said: “It is when it happens to you that you would know they also did it to Jesus Christ.

” Urging Christians to know that God allows them to go through certain things in life as a way of preparing them for where He has destined them to be, Isong said: “God can allow people to lie against you so that when we talk about how Jesus was crucified by false witnesses you yourself will believe and say it happened to me. God can allow people to accuse you falsely so that you will understand the Bible. The things you go through are to train you for where God is taking you to.

You are a student in the class of your own.” He corrected the common saying that “experience is the best teacher” to Holy Spirit is the best teacher. Citing Peter as an example, Isong said Peter had many years experience as a fisherman, yet he would had been a failure had Jesus Christ not stepped in to help him.

“Peter was an experienced fisherman. He knows when the fishes would come and go, but he still could not catch any. Do you know that sometimes, God allows you to fail so that you will look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

God will always meet us at various points of need, if only we can surrender all to him,” he said. You must be logged in to post a comment. Why are you flagging this comment?
