The Victoria Independent School District (VISD) announced the return of its Insider Academy for a second year in 2025. The Insider Academy is a program that allows community members to learn about the district’s inner workings like the process for decision making and educational planning. The 2025 Insider Academy features four interactive sessions, each designed to teach the public about a different aspect of VISD operating processes.
The informative experiences offered for the next installment of the program are Governance and Decision Making, Communication and Student Services, Financial Management and Infrastructure and Curriculum and Learning. In addition to the four courses offered through the VISD Insider Academy, all participants will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive trip viewing the district’s educational facilities. Participants will travel to facilities where students and staff spend each day as well.
“The VISD Insider Academy is a free, month-long program that equips residents with knowledge about their public school district through detailed presentations, engaging tours, and interactive demonstrations,” according to a VISD communications press release. All sessions of the 2025 Insider Academy will be held in the VISD Board Room. Sessions dates are as follows: Jan.
