On Wednesday's instalment of Good Morning Britain, it seemed as though Adil Ray wasn't too thrilled with a joke made by his co-star Kate Garraway . As the pair were informing viewers about the upcoming segment on the ITV show, surrounding water pollution, Adil told Kate the river near him in London has also been affected. Deciding to poke fun at him, Kate quipped: "The Thames? That river near you in London?" Kate burst into laughter as Adil looked into the camera and shook his head, clearly unimpressed to be the butt of the joke.

Realising he didn't find it as funny, Kate said: "Sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me this morning! I've gone all giddy." As she tried to move the subject along, Adil grabbed some paper from the desk and started to get up. Grabbing his arm, Kate warned: "Don't you walk out! Don't you walk out.

" However, the ITV host started to make his way behind the desk and headed towards the door. With the music playing in the studio, indicating the programme was about to go to an ad break, Kate tried to close off the segment alone. Kate told viewers: "You're watching Good Morning Britain on ITV1 which may be hosted by one, you never know.

" Although she turned to see where Adil had gone as she summoned him back. She yelled: "Come back!" The camera started to follow him into the corridor before he turned around to return to the studio floor. It seemed as though his sudden outburst was all in good spirits as he was seen with a huge grin on his face, laughing over the scenario.

Once the show returned from the ad break, Adil was back alongside Kate, although there was a moment she feared he'd storm out again. When speaking to entertainment reporter Richard Arnold , the star had said something which ruffled Adil and there was an awkward silence before Adil let out a cough. Noticing the shift, Kate said: "He may storm out the other way this time.

" Although the panel all laughed as the studio played in the sound effect of a boxing bell. Good Morning Britain continues weekdays on ITV from 6am..
