GOOD Morning America host George Stephanopoulos wants a dressing room as big as rival David Muir's space, as the two stars move to the new luxury ABC studio. A source exclusively told The U.S.

Sun that the GMA star has been quietly asking around about what his World News Tonight rival 's dressing room looks like in their new ABC studios in downtown New York City. "George has been interested in making sure he gets whatever David Muir gets," the insider claimed. "He's been asking people on his team to find out what David is getting to make sure his is comparable.



" Another insider, however, claimed there is "no merit" to George inquiring about David's accommodations in the new studios. Most of ABC's news programming will be moving to the new location sometime in 2025, so far only The View has moved downtown . Read More GMA Meanwhile, the insider said that Robin Roberts, George and Michael Strahan's old dressing rooms in the uptown studios are currently all about the same size.

"Robin, George and Michael all have their own personal dressing rooms, and they're all pretty much the same size. They all have a dressing area, they all have a couch, and there are lots of pictures on the walls. The insider claimed that in the new studios, Robin's dressing room is rumored to have an ensuite bathroom.

According to the outlet, George continued with his role of chief anchor, while David had quietly signed a new contract in which he would assume the role after the election season ended in 2020. George felt blindsided when he learned that David would be heading up breaking news and special coverage and felt deceived by ABC News president James Goldston. After Bob flew out to broker peace with George, the GMA anchor was reportedly given a contract extension and a significant pay bump, along with various other perks, according to CNN.

MORE DRESSING ROOM DRAMA As The U.S. Sun previously reported, the new studios and dressing room accommodations have impacted other shows as well.

Whoopi Goldberg over at The View was said to be upset about the dressing room ABC has given her in the new downtown New York City studio. "It's so small, and she doesn't have her own bathroom," the insider quipped. Another insider said that the host is used to her larger accommodations at the former studio uptown.

The source said "Whoopi had the biggest dressing room with an ensuite including a shower and full bathroom." Read More on The US Sun They added that other than the veteran host that only Joy Behar had her own bathroom, and yet Whoopi 's was still the largest of the dressing rooms. The second insider added: "She had a large table in her room, so she would hold the morning meetings and all the ladies would have to go to Whoopi's in the morning.
