Lindbergh Elementary is hosting a Glow Read Night on Thursday to support literacy while incorporating a little fun. Lindbergh's gym will feature literacy activities for kids, and parents will receive information about new districtwide reading programs that encourage kids to read more often. Representatives from United Way and the Washington Public Library will attend.
Books donated by St. Joseph Read also will be handed out to kids. The event starts at 5:30 p.
m. at the school at 2812 St. Joseph Ave.
