In its previous edition in February 2024, the event facilitated 8,510 one-on-one meetings across multiple time zones, connecting 479 buyers and 23 journalists from around the world with 222 exhibitors from Africa and its Indian Ocean islands. Participants praised the event for its seamless organization and valuable networking opportunities, resulting in over 10,000 profile views and numerous meaningful connections.
Continuing its tradition, the 2025 edition will offer free participation for travel agents, tour operators, media, and travel buyers, ensuring accessibility for all. Exhibitor fees will remain affordable to promote inclusivity within the industry. As in past years, the event is committed to supporting conservation and community initiatives, with donation recipients for 2024 including With My Own Two Hands, which runs agricultural andwater initiatives in East Africa, and the HERD Elephant Orphanage in South Africa.
