The 1975, which consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel, are hoping to headline Glastonbury in 2025.

The band, who were meant to headline this year, are reportedly playing in the Pyramid Stage next summer. While the lineup is yet to be revealed, a source told The Sun : ' Matty and his bandmates are more than ready to play the Pyramid Stage and they are available. 'Festival organiser Emily Eavis has long wanted The 1975 on board, but they couldn’t make it work last year.



'They are being lined up for the Friday slot at the moment, and all the signs are really positive.'
