Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon recently shared her experience of failing at her very first business. Hyoyeon and Brian Joo were special guests on SBS PowerFM’ s Cultwo Show on October 4. During their conversation with DJ Kim Tae Gyun , the topic of business came up, and Kim asked Hyoyeon if she had any experience in the field.

Hyoyeon surprisingly answered that she had indeed tried her hands at entrepreneurship. “I opened a dumpling and buckwheat noodle shop in LA ,” she explained, adding that it was managed by her parents and her younger siblings. However, due to visa issues, her parents had to step back, and her siblings and their spouses took over the business.



The idol then shared the unfortunate circumstances that led to her business failing. She and her family had settled on selling buckwheat noodles for the business as it sells well in the summer, and LA has warm weather throughout the year. But when Hyoyeon opened her restaurant, the weather decided to go the other way.
