Nicola Roberts wants her Girls Aloud bandmates as bridesmaids at her wedding. The 38-year-old singer recently got engaged to businessman and semi-professional soccer player Mitch Hahn, after two years of dating, and Nicola wants her bandmates - Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle - to play a special role in the celebrations. A source told New! magazine: "Nicola is so excited to get married, they are both so happy and she can't wait to get planning the wedding.

" Nicola is also working on a special tribute to the fifth member of Girls Aloud, Sarah Harding , who died in 2021 following a battle with breast cancer. The insider said: "She wants all the Girls Aloud girls as bridesmaids and is going to do a special tribute to Sarah during the wedding. Nicola knows what she wants.

" Nicola and Mitch have been dating for the last two years, and Mitch is thought to have proposed during a recent holiday in the south of France. The engagement was first revealed when Nicola showed off her sparkling engagement ring at Brighton Pride earlier this month. It comes after the ginger haired songstress and her semi-professional footballer beau Mitch Hahn have been dating for two years.

It's thought he popped the question while the pair were holidaying in the south of France. The group headlined at Fabuloso in the Park and a source told the Sun : "Nicola has met her soulmate in Mitch. She couldn’t be happier.

" Fans were quick to comment on Nicola's ring on Twitter /X after the show. One user who shared a picture of the star and her new diamond wrote: "Am I seeing this right? Nicola Roberts Left hand *that* finger." Another praised the girls' performance on the night: "Yes so @GirlsAloud gave the performance of a lifetime tonight," they wrote.

"That was my concert of the year. Simply superb and top tier wow! I was in awe of every moment. Stunning from start to finish!" Despite the roaring success and their recent tour, Kimberley recently hinted it's once again the end of the road for the girl group .

The group announced last year that they would be reforming in honour of their late bandmate Sarah Harding , who sadly died in 2021 following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Taking to Instagram after their Brighton Pride headline performance, Kimberley shared an array of snaps taken from Saturday which included a cameo appearance from Olly Alexander . She said: "What an end to the most amazing summer performing with my girls.
