Sunday, September 8, 2024 India’s largest hospitality company has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Ahmedabad, set to be located in the heart of the city. The existing property will undergo renovations and rebranding to become part of the Ginger hotel chain, through an operating lease agreement with Himalaya Elanza Private Limited. Strategically positioned at RTO Circle, a prime residential and business hub in Ahmedabad, the hotel will offer more than 110 rooms with stunning views of the city skyline.
It will cater to both business and leisure travelers, featuring an all-day dining restaurant and a fully equipped fitness center. The revamped hotel is expected to open in 2022. Ahmedabad, situated on the banks of the Sabarmati River, serves as the financial capital of Gujarat.
Known for its commercial significance and rich cultural heritage, the city attracts a blend of business professionals and tourists alike. With this new addition, the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) will expand its footprint in Gujarat to 16 hotels across various brands, including three more currently under development..
