A traditional spooky spectacle returned to Bolton – prompting some haunted looks from passers-by. The McGuiness’s Higher Tongs Farm Halloween Hack put on a show in Moss Bank Park, Bolton, in the run up to today, Halloween. Fans of spooky season saddled up for a Halloween ride.
The hack started at the farm in Smithills. Spooky! (Image: HENRY LISOWSKI) Riders then rode through Barrow Bridge to Moss Bank Park. Janette McGuiness, who runs the farm, said: “It was amazing as always.
“We do it every year, we’ve got a Halloween ride, a Christmas one, and even an Easter one weather permitting. Janette's favourite costume was the scarecrow (Image: HENRY LISOWSKI) “We meet up at the farm for 10.30am, then have a photoshoot where we all get to see everyone’s fabulous outfits, then we head off to Moss Bank Park.
” Ms McGuiness, who runs the farm with her daughter, Beth, said her favourite outfit was the scarecrow. What a ghoolishly great day (Image: HENRY LISOWSKI) She added: “It’s true, we do get some funny looks. “It’s not just horses, people come along with their boyfriends or husbands and walk along.
