Brock Purdy passed for 260 yards and one touchdown and also rushed for a score as the San Francisco 49ers notched a 30-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night at Santa Clara, Calif. George Kittle had six receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown as the 49ers (4-4) beat the Cowboys for the fourth consecutive time, with two of those wins coming in the playoffs. Kittle also became the fifth player in 49ers history with 500 or more career receptions.
San Francisco rookie Isaac Guerendo rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, with most of the fourth-round pick's workload coming after Jordan Mason exited with a shoulder injury. Purdy was 18-of-26 passing and rushed for 56 yards. Dak Prescott completed 25 of 38 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Cowboys (3-4).
CeeDee Lamb matched his career high of 13 receptions to go with 146 yards and two scores for Dallas, which lost its second straight game. Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons (ankle) missed his third straight contest. Prescott connected with Lamb on a 20-yard scoring pass to bring Dallas within six with 3:32 remaining in the game.
The Cowboys' defense then forced a three-and-out by the 49ers. The Dallas offense took over with 3:05 left, but Prescott threw four straight incompletions to give San Francisco the ball at the Cowboys 25-yard line. A short time later, Guerendo clinched the win with a 14-yard run on third-and-2, purposely sliding down at the Dallas 3.
