A social media user has shown others how she stores her fresh fruit to keep it fresh for days. The woman, who posts on TikTok as @Kyaraepsi, shows her followers how she ensures the food is free from any thing which might cause it to go mouldy. With the heading: 'How I get my fruit to last 12 days in the fridge', she proceeds to rise her berries and grapes and lays them out on kitchen paper.
This encourages the moisture to disappear before she goes on to the next stage of her hack. She says: "Let it dry. Typically let it dry for about two to three hours.
" The TikTok poster, @Kyaraepsi , then lines some dry containers with fresh paper towels and transfers the fruit on top of them before adding more paper on top. A final stage sees her adds the lids of the containers and then she says: "I'm done'. She adds a final 'pro tip' at the end of the video which says: "Change out the paper towels after 6-7 days to help keep your fruity fresh.
" One commenter said: "Thanks!! As a twin mom I need my bulk fruit to last longer!" Another person who responded, gave her own hint. She said: "Add vinegar next time."
