Jason quipped back: "Yeah, so does Sonny, but that didn't stop you from tampering with his medication." Clement claimed he was just trying to stay out of trouble, emphasizing that he just wanted to live. To the pharmacist's surprise, Jason clarified, "I don't want to kill you," adding: "I just want the truth.
Who paid you to tamper with Sonny's meds." In an effort to save himself, Clement spilled what he knew. He explained that he spoke with Ava Jerome who seemed to know that Sonny was only taking a quarter dose.
She pressured him to cut that medication back further, eventually until Clement was supplying placebos. When Jason put on even more pressure, with even more threats, Clement eventually confessed who he hired initially to lower the dose at all. He revealed Valentin Cassadine was behind the conspiracy.
That being said, Sonny is currently under the belief that Jagger is leading the charge against him, which isn't completely wrong as another scene proved that he was involved with Ava. However, this belief is leading Sonny to potentially hit out at Valentin. Fans, though, are worried that this might not be the best time to do so.
