" Despite the general outpouring of love for the series, some have claimed that General Hospital has become "boring." It has also gotten to the point where many viewers have been pleading with the show to bring back Jacqueline Grace Lopez . Jacqueline, who reportedly filmed her last episode with the daytime drama this week after two years, was fired from the show.

General Hospital has been on air since the early 1960s. The cast of the iconic soap opera includes: Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Corinthos) Robert Gossett (Marshall Ashford) Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) Gregory Harrison (Gregory Chase) Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn) Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) Kelly Monaco (Samantha McCall) Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber-Baldwin) Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves) Maura West (Ava Jerome) Celebrity appearances: Demi Moore (1982-1984) Meghan Markle (2002) Mark Hamil (1972) Kristin Davis (1991) Eva Longoria (2000) George Takei (1985) Elizabeth Taylor (1981) In the show, Jacqueline's character Blaze, AKA Allie, was written off the show by saying she was leaving to open for a singer on tour. Blaze was given the hook after she broke up with her girlfriend, Kristina , played by Kate Mansi.

"The writers have to get it together," said one fan after they explained she was fired. "Don’t like the Drew and Willow storyline, the usual, older man, younger woman scenario. Boring," a second person proclaimed.

"Another snooze fest," added a third. "Just hurry up and end the Jagger story, it’s another stupid story that was just a waste of time," seethed a fourth viewer. Shortly before her departure, Jacqueline revealed that she felt blindsided by the firing.

"I’m so grateful to Frank for asking me back. I am grateful to everyone I got to tell stories with, both in front and behind the camera. This cast and crew work so hard and have taught me so much.
