Gospel artiste Girvan 'Gee' Moore says he is charged up for the PAN 2024 grand finals this Sunday at Independence Park, Black River, St Elizabeth. Moore is one of two gospel acts who will perform at the grand final of the sizzling culinary extravaganza, which is powered by CB Foods. The other gospel act is Rondell Positive.

"I am excited to go out there and introduce myself to the general public, to see and hear the feedback from patrons. You can expect a powerful ministry, a refreshing new sound in gospel, and a message from the Almighty," Moore shared. Moore's journey in Christendom began at the age of 12.

"It was after attending a church camp that I decided to give my life to Christ. However, the journey in Christendom has not been an easy one for me," he disclosed. At the age of 24, Moore stopped attending church and found his way into the secular world, where he pursued a career as a reggae artiste.

Late last year, Moore reconnected with his spiritual roots and found his way back to Christ. A native of St Thomas, Moore is a past student of Morant Bay High School. While at the Highbury Hill-based institution, he joined the school's a cappella group, and later on he became a member of the gospel band, Earth Foundation.

In 2008, he entered the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Gospel Song Competition, where he made the top 10 with the song Jamaica Needs to Change and won the Most Popular Vote title..
