Thursday, November 7, 2024 The 2025 Adventure Race Croatia (ARC) is set to deliver an epic challenge as registration kicks off on November 11, 2024, at 16:00 CET. This marks the sixth installment of the grueling 500 km race, designed to test participants’ physical and mental stamina across Croatia’s awe-inspiring landscapes. From May 12 to May 17, 2025, competitors will face a demanding course on the Istrian Peninsula, an area known for its picturesque vineyards, olive orchards, and historic villages.
This race will transform the idyllic Mediterranean scenery into a fierce adventure playground, incorporating kayaking, trail running, mountain biking, and orienteering. Teams of four will tackle this diverse terrain, navigating through dense woodlands, along jagged shores, and over gentle hills, pushing themselves in continuous, intense race stages unique to ARC. They’ll have up to five days to complete the course, with the top team securing a spot in the Adventure Racing World Series World Championship in Canada.
The event is based at the Arena Grand Kažela in Medulin, a prime location for water sports and beach relaxation. With 15 hours of daylight and mild temperatures averaging 18°C by day and 8°C at night in May, conditions are perfect for the varied race stages. Early registration fees for mixed, all-male, or all-female teams are set at €3,600 until January 1, 2025, increasing to €3,800 thereafter.
