Gavin and Stacey star Alison Steadman has opened up about her sense of 'dread' following the conclusion of filming for the beloved BBC sitcom. The much-loved series is set to delight fans with a final Christmas special later this year, seeing Ruth Jones and James Corden, among others, saying their last goodbyes to their cherished characters. As production came to a close, Alison reminisced about her journey on the show, revealing that she was moved to tears during the last takes. Reflecting on the emotional farewell, she said: "We've had a great five weeks. We only finished on Monday night but we were all dreading that final scene when we finished.



90% of us were in tears. Some people braved it but it's been so fantastic." Celebrating the end of an era, she added: "We had a wrap party.
