Tuesday, January 28, 2025 Tourism Potential in Gandaki Province Awaits Exploration and International Promotion Stakeholders have emphasized the urgent need to unlock the untapped tourism potential of Gandaki Province. During a program organized by the Foreign Ministry on economic diplomacy on Monday, participants highlighted that although the province boasts numerous tourist destinations, many remain unexplored and lack global visibility. They stressed that fully harnessing these tourism opportunities and informing the international market about the region’s attractions would not only generate employment but also significantly contribute to the provincial economy.
Collaboration and active involvement from all three tiers of government were identified as essential for achieving these goals. Joint Secretary of the Foreign Ministry, Laxman Khanal, called for unified efforts to promote tourism in Gandaki Province.
