Learn more Gabby says she's coming to terms with getting older (Image: Getty) BBC sports anchor Gabby Logan has admitted “don't know what's around the corner” as she shared her feelings about getting older. She told DJ Annie MacManus on her “Changes’ podcast that her husband, former Scotland rugby union player Kenny Logan, recently had a serious health scare to deal with.

“He's had a rough couple of years,” Gabby said. “He had prostate cancer a couple of years ago. That came as a bolt from the blue – this is really fit guy who had no symptoms at all.

" Gabby, who does her best to keep fit with regular running and rounds of golf, said that she had a serious discussion with Kenny, shortly after she had turned 50. function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.createElement('script');el.

Gabby Logan 'wasn't patient' when husband Kenny failed to perform in bed [REPORT] “It was funny because my husband was 50 the year before me,” she recalled, “and I'd thrown him a big surprise party and it was a big thing. So when I turned 50, it felt like a bit like after the Lord Mayor's show. We’d had this talk about being 50 and he said ‘Oh, I'm 52, and actually, I really don't mind it at all.

” The bigger challenges may lay further ahead, Gabby thinks: “One of my colleagues is 60, Sonia McLaughlin, she won't mind me saying that. And she said that she found 60 much harder than 50. “50 felt great.

She felt like she got everything sorted. And that is how it feels a little bit – this is gonna be a great decade. “But then you don't know what's around the corner, do you? And I think that's the thing my husband and I have always kind of very much aligned on philosophically.

” Gaby says that both he and Kenny believe in “seizing the day,” and making the best of whatever life brings. Gabby looks after her fitness, and took part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon (Image: Getty) Don't miss..
