Strictly Come Dancing 's final contestants have reportedly been confirmed to join the likes of JB Gill and Chris McCausland in the star-studded line-up. As the competition's launch day edges closer, famous faces have been confirmed over the past few days. So far, official announcements have seen Dr Punam Krishan , Toyah Willcox, Wynne Evans, JB Gill and Chris McCausland confirmed to be set to hit the dance floor.

Olympian Tom Dean also spilled the beans on his participation in an interview following his performance at the Games in Paris. According to reports, rumoured participants including Shayne Ward and Pete Wicks are correct, but there are also surprising names to have been included. Among the shocking contestants are former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Gladiators' Montell Douglas AKA Fire .

Sarah Hadland has also seemingly been confirmed for this latest series, as has Sam Quek. According to The Sun, blonde bombshell Tasha has signed up for the show following her successful stint on reality dating show Love Island in 2022. Her career has gone from strength to strength since appearing on the show, while her love life has blossomed too.

She left the villa with partner Andrew Le Page and the pair bought a home together just months later. Montell's apparent inclusion comes after she showed off her power and strength on the reboot of Gladiators. The athlete, 37, had previously competed in both the Summer and Winter Olympics, becoming the first female UK athlete to do so.

She raced in both the 100m sprint and the bobsled. Elsewhere, Miranda star Sarah Hadland is said to be swapping scripts for steps and is said to be one of the next batch of contestants to be officially unveiled for the dance contest. The Mirror has contacted a Strictly representative for comment.
