Sunday, October 6, 2024 A Frontier Airlines flight from San Diego to Las Vegas faced a frightening moment on Saturday when flames and thick smoke emerged from the plane’s undercarriage as it landed at Harry Reid International Airport. As Flight 1326 touched down, emergency services rushed into action. All 190 passengers and seven crew members were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported.
The aircraft experienced a “hard landing,” according to airport officials, which triggered an immediate response from the Clark County Fire Department. Frontier Airlines quickly confirmed that the pilots noticed smoke upon landing and declared an emergency. Despite the tense situation, the aircraft landed safely.
Crew members swiftly helped passengers exit via airstairs, and everyone was bused to the terminal. The flight left San Diego at 1:51 p.m.
