Summary Frontier Airlines announces new routes in fall expansion at 15 airports, including Atlanta, Austin, and Hollywood. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport gains a new route to Sarasota with introductory fares starting at $29. Atlanta will see three new routes to Austin, Newark, and Dulles in November, with fares starting at $19 one-way.

Frontier Airlines announced a major network expansion today, and plans to add 11 routes at 15 airports this fall. Fall expansion Frontier Airlines, one of the leading ultra-low-cost carriers in the United States has announced another route expansion. Starting this October and November, Frontier will add 11 new routes at 15 airports.



Some of the cities with added service include Atlanta, Austin, and Hollywood, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport will gain a new route starting October 12, bringing Frontier to 20 routes at the airport. This comes shortly after the airline announced it would add a crew base at CVG. The new service will run once weekly to Sarasota, and introductory fares start at $29.

Josh Fly, Vice President of Network and Operations Design, said, “Cincinnati has made us feel right at home as we have grown in the community, and we are delighted to offer affordable and convenient travel to sunny Sarasota just in time for the colder months." Candace McGraw, CVG's Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are pleased to see another option for local travelers to get to Florida’s Gulf Coast from CVG as this area continues to grow in popularity from our region." Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is gaining three routes, one in October and the other two in November.

First, Frontier will launch a thrice-weekly service on October 11 to Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). To commemorate the new route, the City of Austin made its own announcement, and AUS CEO said, It’s fantastic to see our partners at Frontier expand their presence at AUS with the addition of nonstop service to Atlanta, Georgia. We know many of our travelers will benefit from this new way to travel to ATL.

We are so grateful for Frontier’s support and their presence as one of three Ultra Low Cost Carriers in our market is incredibly important to us as we strive to offer airlines with competitive and affordable options for AUS customers.” In November, the two new routes are to United Airlines hubs in Newark and Dulles. Frontier will begin competing with both United and Delta Air Lines, who already connected the cities.

Service to Newark Liberty International Airport will launch on November 4, while service to Dulles International Airport (IAD) will begin ten days later. Both routes will be served daily and have fares starting at $19 one-way. Dulles (Washington) Frontier has not served Dulles since 2021 but has continued its operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

As mentioned above, its service from Atlanta will begin on November 14. But the airline is also launching a second service from Dulles, to Orlando International Airport (MCO), which will operate four times weekly.
