Travelling with a dog from Ireland to mainland Europe is pretty much a doddle these days, especially if you’re travelling by ferry. I’ve done it that way with my dog, Dudley, for the past three years and once your pooch has his European Pet Passport – your vet will organise it – and his rabies vaccinations are all officially recorded and, obviously, up to date, well, it’s a simple case of off you go..
