MGM+ has renewed its sci-fi/horror series “From” for a fourth season, the order coming just days ahead of the third season finale on Sunday. The series is set in a nightmarish town in the United States which traps those who enter. The unwilling residents strive to work together to stay alive and search for secrets hidden within the town and beyond in the hope of finding a way to escape.

Throughout they are plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding forest. The show centers on Boyd Stevens, the self-appointed sheriff and de-facto mayor, along with the newly arrived Matthews family. Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Shaun Majumder, Scott McCord, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Pegah Ghafoori, Corteon Moore, Hannah Cheramy and Simon Webster co-star.



In a statement, series creator John Griffin says: “With the culmination of season three we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. In season four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare.

We are so grateful to our partners at MGM+ to be able to continue this tale and beyond excited to share the news with our amazing From-ily.” The series has received acclaim for its story, directing, and performances throughout its run and is reportedly the most watched show in the cable/streaming outlet’s history. Filming on the fourth season will begin in Nova Scotia nex.
