We're all about the sun-kissed look in summer but as we approach autumn, it's time to dial things down for a more natural-looking glow. If you are after a new blush to enhance your complexion, we have selected some recent launches from a popular brands - including Nars. These formulas blend seamlessly into the skin for a subtle yet noticeable hint of colour.

We suggest applying this blush using a brush instead of the fingers. Another liquid brush we recommend is a twist on a cult classic: the Nars Afterglow Liquid Blush . Dubbed a "treat for cheeks", this lightweight, silky formula provides a natural-looking glow and blends without streaking.

40. Other than liquid formulas, we love Suqqu's new Blurring Colour Blush . At £40, the powder is easily buildable as the brand claims it contains "less oil to prevent powder particles from sticking to each other" - so you can expect a soft finish.

The gradient colours reflect the changing colours of the sky as it moves from dawn to dusk. Try Yuunami for a soft hint of pink, or Koinagare for a blossoming blush. Apply diagonally.

And lastly, the creme blush from Tata Harper is a nutrient-infused hybrid option - it can be used as a blush as well as a lip tint. Formulated with hydrating and antioxidant-rich oils, the ultra-blendable blush melts into the skin and leaves a "flawless, satin finish". Originally priced at £40, it's currently reduced to £26.
