Article content SeaMAN Stage 1, ATB Westbury Theatre, 10330 84 Ave NW 4 stars out of 5 It’s a one-man show played by two people, Amica Hunter and Bruce Ryan Costella (aka 2 Sleepy RatGuys), who share the part of an eccentric sea captain who takes the audience on a naughty, nautical adventure. In this chaotic and bizarre revenge comedy, the duo from Portland, Oregon and Orlando, Florida, brings everyone in the room along on a boat tour that dives into the depths of the sea, and the captain’s sordid past and psyche. It’s campy, silly and absurd with wacky costumes and props, amusing physical comedy and choreography, and a memorable “murder shanty.

” A character named Tammy is one of the highlights in what is one of the most hilarious and horrifying portrayals of a mermaid — pure nightmare fuel that had the audience howling. The story pulls you in — or the cast might, as there is a lot of audience participation. Keep the kids at home for this one.
