David Schwimmer has claimed Matthew Perry was “reserved” around him. The 57-year-old actor was “surprised” to learn his late Friends co-star - who died in October 2023 aged 54 - was a fan of his approach to comedy and admitted he didn’t think his pal would have ever told him himself. Schwimmer was a guest on Cush Jumbo’s Origins podcast and the host recalled how she discussed him with Perry when they worked on The Good Fight together.
She said: “I’m recalling talking to him about how I knew you a little bit, but not very much at that stage - and I was talking to him about commedia [dell’arte] and about physical comedy and all this stuff. “[I asked] is David just someone who just does it? It just comes off of him?.
