Photo: Gerry Mooney The New Voices: 20 Best New Irish Writers list, in association with the An Post Irish Book Awards, features 20 diverse and exciting Irish fiction authors, and is aimed at showcasing a new generation of writers who perfectly encapsulate the moment of celebration Irish writing is experiencing worldwide. Curated by nominations from those at the coalface of what readers want, publishers, booksellers and librarians nationwide, it is a collection of vibrant voices, all of whom have no more than two books published each in the last 10 years, who acknowledge the tradition from which they have come, while also creating a new chapter in the heritage of Irish storytelling.
