Anna Delvey, the infamous "fake heiress" who was once a New York City socialite, is now free to roam the streets of Manhattan. Per a Page Six report, a judge has eased the conditions of her house arrest, allowing her to return to her former life. Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, has been under house arrest since October 2022 following her release from prison.
Delvey to produce New York Fashion Week shows Delvey is now a fully accredited member of the US workforce and is set to work her first New York Fashion Week. She has also been issued a Social Security number, allowing her to legally work in the US. Delvey and Kelly Cutrone, a PR industry veteran, have established a "pop up" PR agency called OutLaw.
The agency, along with Cutrone's firm People's Revolution, will produce shows for several clients during fashion week. The upcoming fashion week shows—sponsored by Pornhub—will feature labels such as Private Policy, Untitled&Co, and Shao New York.
Despite her criminal past, Delvey is now a legitimate PR executive with plans to establish a media empire. Interestingly, she was also the inspiration for the Netflix series Inventing Anna , which featured Julia Garner. Delvey's past as a con artist Delvey was dubbed the "fake heiress" after posing as a German aristocrat and swindling businesses, including luxury hotels, out of more than $2,50,000 between 2013 and 2017.
She was arrested in 2017 and spent two years in prison. Upon her release, she was placed under house arrest. Delvey remains under house arrest but can now travel freely within 75 miles of her residence.
