I'm better than I was. I don't know what completely better is. I am what I am now, I'm different to what I was, that's something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life.

Better, no, different." The incident occurred in 2022 at the Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey while piloting a roofless Morgan Super 3. The vehicle catastrophically overturned resulting in Flintoff being urgently flown to a medical facility suffering severe injuries including broken ribs and damage to his face.

(Image: PA) Rachael Wilson, Freddie's wife, rushed to his bedside and was told to "expect the worst". A source disclosed to The Sun details of the accident: "The injuries were more severe as the car didn't have a roof.

It was a freak accident and somehow the car flipped over and the two men were dragged along. Freddie and the crew member were both wearing helmets, but it was still a severe accident. Everyone on the scene was shocked by how serious it was and they were very worried about the two men strapped in.

" In a heartfelt revelation to Mail Online, Corey, the second eldest son of cricket legend, opened up about his father's horrific accident and subsequent daunting recovery. He said: "He's OK. I'm not too sure what happened but he is lucky to be alive.

It was a pretty nasty crash. It is shocking. We are all shocked but just hope he's going to be OK," reports the Mirror .
