CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) -- Seemingly every time Jullian Pattison and Carder Shanholtz touched the ball, they were handing into the official in the end zone.

Frankfort tied a Class AA state tournament record with six rushing touchdowns, five by Pattison and one by Shanholtz, and the two scored on nearly half of their 13 carries, with Pattison finished with nine totes for 178 yards and Shanholtz with four touches for 121 yards as the Falcons routed Roane County, 49-14, at Laidley Field in Charleston on Friday night. "We had a good week of practice, so I felt pretty confident coming in that we could get the job done," Frankfort coach Kevin Whiteman said. Roane County started the game with a solid drive: Lane Watson ran for 18 yards on first down, then a run and a 15-yard flag on Frankfort moved the ball across midfield.

Watson converted a third-and-2, but a pass to Shay Harper four plays later was stopped a yard short of the marker. Frankfort immediately turned that defensive momentum into offense as Shanholtz romped 89 yards on the next play for a touchdown. "That stop was huge," Whiteman said.

"Blake Jacobs made a great play and then to be able to bust one and score really quick was phenomenal." Rhett Sensabaugh's kick gave the Falcons a 7-0 lead with 7:14 left in the first quarter. Roane County then fumbled on third-and-6, with Jett McCullough recovering.

Two offensive snaps, two touchdowns for Frankfort as Pattison went 41 yards on the next play: 14-0 after Sensabaugh's .
