Wednesday, August 14, 2024 The Four Seasons Jackson Hole unveils stunning summer enhancements, including revamped residences, unique dining spots, and exclusive member amenities, all inspired by the American West. This summer, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole unveils a host of upgrades, channeling the pioneering essence of the American West and the majestic Teton mountains. Led by CLB Architects, who are based in the area, key features of the renovation include the First Chair mountainside quick-service outlet, the 80 Proof hidden bar, and a thorough refurbishment of both the five-bedroom Granite Residence and the Mountain Lounge.

“For more than 20 years, Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole has welcomed guests to our luxurious mountain retreat,” says General Manager Ryan Grande . “These enhancements build upon our commitment to excellence – staying true to a sense of place and underscoring the frontier foundation of our home in Jackson Hole. The mountainside market makes it easy to grab a drink or bite for a day of exploration in Teton Village, while the speakeasy is the perfect stop for a cocktail after a day of adventure.

” Jackson Hole-based CLB, an architecture and interior design firm with over thirty years of experience, was entrusted with enhancing the property’s modern-mountain style. Known for their designs that reflect the area’s natural landscape, CLB’s task was to seamlessly integrate this aesthetic throughout the property. “Our design is inspired by the historical journey of the early settlers and Jackson residents, and the rich and vibrant heritage of the bars, banks and eateries of the pioneering American West towns they frequented,” says CLB Principal and Interior Design Director Sarah Kennedy .

“The rugged spirit comes into play with rich layering, textures and colours, creating elevated, approachable spaces that are authentic to our home in the American West.” First Chair Grab and Go Open from morning until afternoon, the First Chair grab and go market at the mountainside provides an early start for ski enthusiasts seeking the “first chair” advantage when the slopes open. This concept is beloved by skiers eager to relish in untouched snow and the day’s optimal skiing conditions.

Situated next to the Westbank Grill, the 490-square-foot space is decorated with heritage red hues and a unique newsprint wall covering. Local artist Hayley Leeper has crafted the seasonal packaging, merging elements of both summer and winter activities. Patrons can start their day with a selection of pastries and light snacks, alongside locally sourced coffee and fresh juices.

For later refreshments, the market offers cocktails, mocktails, sandwiches, and a variety of desserts curated by Executive Pastry Chef Rhonda Ashton. 80 Proof Speakeasy Tucked away behind a concealed painting, the 80 Proof offers a distinctive cocktail bar experience in its 750-square-foot venue at the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole. The space accommodates up to 30 guests with a choice of counter stools and banquette tables.

The speakeasy’s design features deep tones, a beautifully tiled bar, leather seating, damask wallpaper, brass details, and a unique maroon-plaid carpet. The bar specializes in sophisticated cocktails and a broad range of non-alcoholic options, all inspired by the spirit of the American frontier. Accompanied by a selection of light snacks, 80 Proof is open daily from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Granite Residence Renovation The flagship Granite Residence has undergone a comprehensive renovation, embracing a modern mountain theme across its 4,355 square feet. The five-bedroom unit combines a palette of taupe, earthy brown, and rich green with textures of leather, denim, and wood to reflect the natural surroundings. Featuring two living spaces, a large outdoor terrace with expansive mountain views, a dining area, and five private bedrooms, the residence comfortably accommodates up to 10 adults, making it ideal for family gatherings or a weekend getaway with friends.

Mountain Club and Lounge Alongside the summer enhancements, there is an expansion of the Mountain Club Membership program, including an 814-square-foot reconfigured member’s lounge that offers direct ski-in/ski-out access. Members enjoy daily meals, après ski offerings, and a full bar, all served with the renowned Four Seasons hospitality. The member locker room has been redesigned to 1,257 square feet with personal heating systems for drying boots and gloves, plus ski storage.

Membership details are exclusive and can be obtained directly from the property..
