Military police soldiers from Fort Cavazos are among approximately 1,500 troops ordered last week to the U.S. border with Mexico with the task of bolstering security there, U.
S. Northern Command announced Friday. The headquarters of Fort Cavazos-based 89th Military Police Brigade and two of its subordinate units, the 759th and 720th Military Police Battalions, are deploying with company-sized elements from across the brigade, which is spread out across four Army installations in the Western United States.
