Reality competition series Dancing With the Stars has faced countless claims it was a “rigged” show over the years, and now, another former competitors is weighing in with their own thoughts about the show being fixed. Viewers of the show have often wondered if the show was fixed, following several seasons of Bachelorettes either winning or making the finals , and several competitors have also come out with their own claims as well. These include Kaitlyn Bristowe, who won Season 29, and Kyle Massey, who placed second on Season 11 .

Appearing on his former partner Cheryl Burke’s podcast Sex, Lies and Spray Tans, the actor shared that he felt the show often favored certain kinds of competitors over others.



“To be honest, I think that the show is partly rigged in a sense,” he said on the podcast. “It is rigged,” he added. “First of all, if you’re not a dancer or you don’t have dancing skills from a young age — you’re not gonna win.

” To make his point, Sabato Jr. said that the “majority” of past winners have had some kind of dance background, and that their experience means that someone who doesn’t have the same background doesn’t stand a chance against the rest, and the show should.
