A former BBC Strictly Come Dancing star has embarked on a new career which could barely be more different. Glamour model Kelly Brook, who was on Strictly back in 2007, is raising a glass to her new venture, launching her own wine range after deciding to step away from modelling. The 44 year old beauty, famed for her bikini shoots and calendars, is now making moves to trademark her name.

Joining the ranks of celebrities like Kylie Minogue and Gary Barlow, she's venturing into the lucrative world of wine. Official documents show that Kelly aims to market "alcoholic wines, spirits and liqueurs, alcopops and alcoholic cocktails". Kelly, who appeared alongside Jeremy in BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World, confided to The Sun on Sunday last month about her decision to leave modelling behind, expressing weariness over posing for "the male gaze". She elaborated: "It's very hard having been a bikini model all through my 20s and then you hit 30 and they still want me to do calendars." "I'm just not there for the male gaze any more.

" "I'm married and I'm very happy being in my 40s.".
