Out of the nearly 200 nations and territories across the globe, UK holidaymakers are advised to steer clear of these particular destinations, which present threats ranging from terrorism and conflict to extreme weather phenomena. The Foreign Office warns that any journey to these locations contrary to their advice could render standard travel insurance void, leaving travellers without protection.
