Italian tourists have been warned by the Foreign Office (Image: Getty) If you are heading to Italy soon, you will want to ensure that you know about two important checks that could happen during your holiday. On their gov.uk website , the Foreign Office is asking Brits to read up on two important things when it comes to travelling around the country.

The government officials warn that if you do not comply, you could risk a hefty fine. And if you don't have much spending money, this could take away a pretty big chunk from it.
