The smoke “is causing or could result in deteriorated air quality and reduced visibility” the agency says in a “note” to its forecast Friday. “Consider reducing your outdoor activities if you are experiencing discomfort.

But the outlook is for more rain as “a moisture-laden system approaches,” bringing heavy rain and a possible thunderstorm by Friday night. The rain is expected to continue through the weekend, and high temperatures should drop to abiout 22 C. It’s going to be rainy on the weekend.
Saturday is expected to see a high of 22 C with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a risk of a thunderstorm. A low of 18 C and showers are forecasted for the night. Sunday is expected to see more showers and a high of 23 C.
