Donald Trump ‘s campaign is facing it’s second battle over unauthorized use of music within a week. On Friday (August 23), the Presidential candidate’s rally in Glendale, Ariz., played the Foo Fighters ‘ “My Hero” as he introduced Robert F Kennedy Jr to the stage, shortly after the independent candidate formally dropped out of the race and endorsed him .

After they were asked on X if they gave permission to use their song, the Foo Fighters account simply stated, “No.” While speaking of the song’s usage, a spokesperson for the band noted that they will be seeking appropriate actions, but that’s not all. Keep reading to find out more.



.. “ Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were, they would not have granted it,” the spokesperson told Billboard , adding that “appropriate actions are being taken.

” In addition, any royalties they receive from the unauthorized usage by the Trump campaign will be donated to his direct opponent, Kamala Harris ‘ campaign! Earlier this week, Beyonce also threatened the Trump campaign over the same thing, unauthorized use of her music. She has granted permission to Kamala Harris , though, to use her song “Freedom.” Last week, Trump ‘s campaign was hit with another lawsuit , once again, for not seeking permission before using a song.
