Saturday, November 23, 2024 Flynas, renowned as the world’s premier budget carrier and the top low-cost airline in the Middle East, recently unveiled its plan to initiate three weekly non-stop flights from Prince Muhammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to Sphinx Airport in Cairo. This move is part of an effort to boost the frequency of flights to Egypt’s capital, aligning with Flynas’s strategic goals for growth and expansion, and in sync with the national aviation sector objectives. Starting December 11, the new service will operate on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, enhancing Flynas’s network from its latest hub at Madinah Airport.

This expansion supports Flynas’s strategy titled “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” which coincides with the National Civil Aviation Strategy. This strategy aims to link Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations by 2030, handle 330 million passengers annually, attract 150 million tourists each year, and facilitate easier access to the Two Holy Mosques through the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP). Currently, Flynas offers over 120 weekly direct flights from five Saudi cities—Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and Al-Ula—to various destinations in Egypt, including Cairo, Sohag, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and El Alamein.



Additionally, Cairo is now linked with direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah, and soon, from Madinah to both Cairo International Airport and Sphinx International Airport. Since its incep.
