Thursday, November 7, 2024 Starting January 8th, flynas, a top-rated low-cost carrier in the Middle East and globally, is set to broaden its African network by launching direct flights to Entebbe, Uganda, and Djibouti. The new routes will include three weekly flights from Riyadh to Entebbe and three from Jeddah to Djibouti, creating expanded travel options between Saudi Arabia and East Africa. This addition aligns with flynas’ growth strategy, titled “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” which focuses on connecting Saudi Arabia to diverse international destinations.
This initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy, a vision to establish 250 global connections by 2030. The strategy also aims to accommodate 330 million passengers and attract 150 million tourists annually, fostering the Kingdom’s role as a global travel hub. Moreover, these routes contribute to the Pilgrims Experience Program, which facilitates improved access for pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques.
Since its founding in 2007, flynas has served over 80 million passengers, operating more than 1500 weekly flights across 70 destinations. With an ambitious target of reaching 165 destinations, the airline is actively expanding to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to boost both tourism and international connectivity for the Kingdom..
