Floyd Mayweather once bought his son one of the most luxury and rare birthday gifts available. Mayweather has had a sensational career in the boxing ring, which saw him rise to become a global superstar, and helped him pocket earnings in excess of $1.2billion for his fights.
Throughout his time in the spotlight, 'TBE' has spent money on some seriously extravagant collections, watches, supercars, mansions and fashion items. But none came more incredible than the gift he bought for his son Koraun for his 15th birthday back in 2014. The boxing great wanted to provide for his family throughout his career, and he certainly did that as he bought the teenager a luxury $13,000 golf cart.
Incredibly, the cart was coloured and made from gold, and branded and designed as a Bentley super-car. He posted on Instagram at the time: "My son @kingkoraun wanted a Bentley golf cart for his 15th birthday so I made it appear. "Stay on the look out for his gift for his 16th birthday!" Koraun posed with the incredible cart, sat in the drivers seat with his father in a famous photo which went viral.
Astonishingly, the cart had space for sand bottles on each side, but had no space to actually place any golf clubs on it. But his son was clearly delighted with the incredible gift, the first of many as Mayweather's career continued to shoot into stardom. It was a hugely successful year for Mayweather all in all, with the American legend having fought twice that year.
