Linden was one of just four area teams to advance to the district finals next week and it did so in dominant fashion. With a 42-14 win over Fenton in its Division 3 playoff opener, Linden (5-5) avenged its 24-21 loss to the Tigers (7-3) back in Week 6. Linden led 28-14 at halftime before shutting out Fenton in the second half.
