Port of Seattle offline The Port of Seattle has confirmed that many systems have been offline due to the blackout. On Saturday, systems were reported out at 09:00, and four hours later, they were still struggling to resume functionality. Despite the outage causing chaos for check-in systems, the airport has remained open, and while many flights have been delayed, only a number were canceled.

Many passengers have complained of long lines at check-in, and there have been reports of British Airways passengers relying on handwritten boarding passes to board their aircraft. The airport indicated that the system outage could be due to a cyber attack. However, the Port of Seattle has isolated all critical systems and is working around the clock to restore full service for all affected carriers.
