After spending a career as an airline pilot , Jon Kotwick now welcomes aspiring aviators and aviation geeks alike to his flight training school in Alaska. Unique to his institution are aircraft that have been transformed into lodges for visitors. After taking a vacation to Alaska’s south-central region, spotting bears and – most importantly – plenty of real estate, the pilot-turned-flight instructor, along with his team, settled on the city of Wasilla to develop a pilot ground school known as FLY8MA .

The school has several courses, such as tailwheel training and commercial pilot boot camp. Being a pilot was “a very boring job” As reported by CNN , this is not Kotwicki’s first go-around as a flight instructor. Before working as an airline pilot, he owned a flight school.

He explained why he decided to return to his roots, even though it does not necessarily pay the bills. Working for airlines “pays good money and everything, but it’s a very boring job,” Kotwicki said to CNN. “Driving Uber is more interesting because you could talk to your passengers.

” The home is perfect for pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike. The FLY8MA property start.
