Sunday, January 19, 2025 The 45 th edition of the International Tourism Fair ( Fitur 2025) will officially commence on Wednesday, January 22, inaugurated by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia at IFEMA Madrid. As the world’s most prominent tourism showcase, Fitur 2025 will host representatives from 156 countries and 9,500 companies, with attendance expected to reach 250,000, matching last year’s record. This event, supported by Spain’s Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism, highlights the nation’s commitment to promoting sustainable and inclusive tourism.

A Global Platform for Tourism Innovation This year’s Fitur introduces several novelties, including a 10% increase in exhibitors, the participation of 11 new countries from Africa and Asia, and an economic impact of approximately €445 million for Madrid’s hospitality, transport, and leisure sectors. Brazil takes center stage as the official partner country, showcasing its cultural and natural heritage in an innovative exhibit located in Pavilion 3. The fair will also emphasize sustainability through thematic spaces such as FiturNext, Fitur Cruises, and Fitur Sports, highlighting tourism’s role in driving positive environmental and social change.
