A fire engine from Cambridge was sent to St Andrews Street at around 8.45am.

The fire has been extinguished. Bus routes have been affected as a result of the blaze. A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A crew from Cambridge was called at 8.

46am to a car fire on St Andrews Street in Cambridge. Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire and use hose reels to extinguish the fire."
