SHREVEPORT, La. - On Saturday, around 6:00 p.m.
, a fire broke out at a home in the 1800 block of Alston Street. According to the Shreveport Fire Department, they saw smoke and flames coming from the structure, quickly bringing the fire under control. Two people at the scene required medical attention and were transported to the hospital by SFD.
There's no word on the condition of those people or the condition of the house. The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation..
