SAGINAW, MI — There’s a museum in mid-Michigan where guests can appreciate art, soak up the last bit of summer in a beautiful garden and try tai chi. Tai chi is offered from 1:30 p.m.

to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at the museum, located at 1126 N.



Michigan Ave. in Saginaw. Classes are scheduled through December.

All are welcome, and it’s free to participate. “Discover the graceful art of Tai Chi amidst the inspiring surroundings of the Saginaw Art Museum,” reads an event description on the museum’s website, www.saginawartmuseum.

org . “Beginner Tai Chi sessions blend the tranquility of this martial art with the creative energy of the museum space. Join us for a harmonious journey of gentle movements and inner calm, where the beauty of art converges with the fluidity of Tai Chi.

Embrace balance and mindfulness as you explore this unique fusion of culture and well-being.” This event series is led by Joe Turner and organized in partnership with BWell Saginaw, YMCA of Saginaw and Covenant HealthCare.
